Organizational Management Department

  1. Assist and support Business Continuity Management strategy in the company in order to ensure an adequate level of continuity of critical business functions and essential services is established throughout the companies as well as to meet the requirements of Allianz SE and Bank Negara Malaysia.
  2. 2. Risk assessment to evaluate potential threats :
    1. Evaluate current office Business Continuity Management plan(s)
    2. Assess potential business impacts through development of a business impact analysis (BIA)
    3. Identify and define critical and time sensitive function
  3. Assist business units with:
    1. Assess potential business impacts (Business Impact Analysis)
    2. Definition of critical, time sensitive functions.
    3. Design, Development and documentation of work area (business function) business continuity plan
  4. Recommend recovery strategies and options; assist with implementation of recovery solutions.
  5. Develop schedules for training / awareness for staff
  6. Coordinate development of business unit schedules for annual business continuity documentation maintenance and update, exercises and independent review and validation.
  7. Report the business continuity status of business units to senior management.
  8. Provide support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration / Management or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply but preferably with working experiences in relevant field
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Demonstrate multi tasking skills, able to organize, coordinate and work in a team
  • Possess good report writing skills, good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia

An established Takaful Operator is looking for an Assistant Manager with experience in Business Continuity Management and Risk Management.

Job Description of Assistant Manager (Risk Management)

  • Reports to the Head of Operational Risk Management
  • Implements and/or facilitates all Business Continuity Management activities as required such as Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plan and Crisis Simulation Exercise
  • Supports all aspects of the Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation programs with primary focus on Business Continuity Management, Outsourcing Risk Management, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
  • Reviews and enhances the Outsourcing Risk Management program so that outsourced risks are mitigated within the acceptable risk level
  • Ensures a safe and conducive working environment in the company through constant review of procedures and adhering to best practices of OSH that are recognized by the OSH Committee
  • Reviews the respective frameworks to ensure they are up to date and relevant
  • Conducts briefings and workshops where necessary
  • Prepares quarterly reports for management and board
  • Able to manage projects independently with little intervention required from superiors

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Should have at least a business degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant areas
  • Preferably has a professional qualification in Business Continuity Management
  • Has at least three years of working experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity Management

  • Deals with DR technology and processes such as DR strategy planning and implementation.
  • Writing of DR Plans, testing, etc.
  • Consulting scope covering multiple stack layers, such as O/S, Databases, network, etc.

Job requirements:
  • The applicant should have an inclination in DR consulting.
  • Significant experience in both BCM and DR or an extraordinary background in either one of these 2 disciplines can be considered.
  • Preferably certified with DRII or other internationally recognized BCM/DR certification.
  • Preferably of Indonesian nationality or willing to be based in Indonesia (Jakarta) full time.
